About this event

We will be exploring the topic of charity governance with a focus on the roles and responsibilities of charity trustees.

The session will cover:

  •  Governance structures
  • Amending your governing document
  • Types of trustee
  • Trustee roles and responsibilities
  • Succession planning and new trustee induction
  • Policies trustees should have in place to meet legal, charitable and legislative requirements

There’ll also be the usual opportunity to chat and network about the latest hot topics of interest to village halls and other community buildings.

When and where?

The training session is taking place on the morning of Friday 7 June 2024, at Quy Village Hall, Main Street, Stow cum Quy, Cambridge, CB25 9AB. The session will start promptly at 10am and will finish at midday.

This session will be of interest to village hall and community building trustees, whether you are new in role or whether you just wish to refresh your knowledge.
